WHAT YOU BRING

You have a university degree in computer science or a related field. Being proficient in at least one modern programming language is a must as is fluency in German and English. Furthermore, you have the following qualifications:

• Knowledge of generative AI, Pro-Code Tools, and Integrated Development Environments like Eclipse or Visual Studio Code, whether through education or personal projects.
• Passion for user interface design with a user-centric mindset.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to discuss and explain complex technical and design topics.

As a User Experience (UX) Developer you will be part of our team that plays a pivotal role in the ongoing evolution of business software development. You will help evolving the IDEs and tools used for building business software in ABAP, SAP’s programming language. In doing that, you will be part developer and part designer.

Join our teams with the following tasks:

• Create user-friendly and consistent designs, and collect user feedback.
• Design low-fidelity mock-ups and build prototypes to assist in product development and user research.
• Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional development teams, product owners, and UX specialists.
• Develop design concepts and create UI guidelines.
• Create reusable UI patterns and components for UX standardization across our IDE toolset.
• Follow emerging trends and technologies, particularly in AI, Pro-Code tools, and evolution of IDEs, and use this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
