UX Designer - Public 360⁰ Tietoevry Industry (1 year Duration) Maternity Cover

We are looking for a Temporary UX Designer for a fixed-term period of 11 months, from April 2024 to March 2025, to be part of a team that is creating a positive impact for both our clients and the world. Tietoevry is an innovative frontrunner specializing in segment-specific software and data platform services. Our software is designed in close collaboration with our customers and based on our extensive industry knowledge and in-depth expertise.

When joining Tietoevry Industry as an UX Designer:

• Working with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, business developers, lead product designers, design researchers, information designers, and fellow designers) to drive design vision and strategy that meets the needs of our users.
• Applying strategic thinking to visualize ideas and concepts and communicate them effectively and compellingly to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
• You will be co-responsible for developing and maintaining a Design System across our product portfolio.
• You will be involved in research, planning, and developing new products and experiences.
• You will design strategies that are customer-centric and aligned with our business objectives and mission.

Who we are looking for

• You have a university degree in UX Design.
• You have 3 to 7 years of work experience in the field of UI, UX or IxD.
• You are a team player and excel in working collaboratively with customers and cross-functional team members.
• You have experience in working with or developing coherent design systems that scale across products.
• Your knowledge of existing and emerging design tools and methods is top-notch.
• You can be both hands-on and strategic.
• You are fluent in English, verbally & writing, and speak an additional Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish or Danish).

As a person, we believe you are a team player who takes action and demonstrates responsibility to organize your work and solve your tasks. With our agile end-to-end development process, you will continue to both learn from, and coach your colleagues, so communication is important for us.

We also believe you have

• Ability to articulate and defend design rationale to stakeholders.
• Fluency with common design and prototyping tools, including Sketch and Figma Adobe XD.
• Experience in running online and offline workshops.
