UX Researcher Consultant

PROJECT SUMMARY :

Velocity Global is seeking a Sr. User Researcher Consultant. Project will consist of conducting user research according to industry best practice to discover impactful insights that impact the direction of the product and user experience. This is a temporary project with an estimated length for 6 months.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

• Identify the scope, help decide research approach & methodology, and conduct impactful user research. Analyze findings and synthesize insights into a strong story that can be shared with stakeholders.
• Conduct Heuristic evaluations of products including competitors or assist the design team conduct such evaluations.
• Where applicable, combine user research information (qualitative and quantitative) with user behavioral data to get more holistic insights that help drive product decisions.
• Work with Product Managers to discover and validate product opportunities, as well as user pain points through appropriate user research methodologies including user interviews, surveys and other methods.
• Create and conduct Usability tests to drive design decisions. Work with Designers as a trusted partner in identifying user friction in existing and proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and other teams to amplify the effect of collective research efforts when needed.
• Uphold a high standard of research integrity within the company.
