Requirements
- 3+ years working as a UX researcher in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to share findings quickly and effectively.
- Experience in all research-related tasks including, research, planning, executing,
evaluating, analyzing, and iteration of research.
- Proven competency in data analytics and qualitative aspects of UX research.
- Experience in remote testing tools.
- Strong commercial acumen with a positive, pragmatic attitude, and strong desire for
creative problem solving.
Skills
- Data Analysis: Be proficient in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Empathy & Curiosity: Empathize with users to understand their needs and experiences.
Curiosity to discover their behaviors and motivations.
- UX research methods & software tools: Familiar with various UX research methods is
essential and proficiency in select UX research software tools.
- Interpersonal Communication skills: Communicate findings effectively.
- Critical thinking: Be able to identify problems based on findings and potentially provide
possible solutions.
UX Researcher will bridge users and the product team. They will study and understand how users
interact with a product, their needs, and expectations. Collect, analyze, and present findings with the
product team that will help inform the product design process. Will employ both qualitative and
quantitative research, along with behavioral and attitudinal research.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Have an awareness of costs, budgets, and time management.
- Source and recruit participants for UX research studies.
- Plan, manage, gather, and analyze, insights about users through new studies and review
of existing data. (ie: usability sessions, user interviews, etc)
- Compile finished, well-documented research findings to deliver meaningful and
actionable insights for internal consumption, and present findings to product team and
other stakeholders.
- Take full ownership of all UX research and run multiple streams of work at one time.
- Be the voice of the user on your team, alongside the Product Managers and Product
designers, ensuring that the products we deliver solve the customers’ problems while
meeting commercial goals.
- Be able to influence product and design decisions with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Create a UX research roadmap for continuous improvement across the product.
- Advise on the most appropriate research methods.
- Conduct competitor and exemplar analysis.
