Description:
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled UX Researcher to join our team, with a focus on enhancing both our trading platform and our chat application. The ideal candidate is a versatile researcher experienced in both financial trading systems and chat applications. Your insights will be crucial in driving design improvements, ensuring our products are both functional and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive user research tailored to each product type: usability studies, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research for both the trading platform and the chat app.
- Analyze research data to uncover insights into user behavior, needs, and expectations for both product types, informing product strategies and design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate insights into actionable product features and improvements, ensuring both product types meet their distinct user needs effectively.
- Advocate for the user experience, presenting research findings to stakeholders and promoting a user-focused approach in product development.
Develop and maintain user personas and journey maps for both product types, facilitating a clear understanding of distinct user segments and their respective journeys.Stay current with trends in fintech, trading technologies, and AI-driven applications, applying best practices and innovative approaches to both product areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX Researcher, with a portfolio demonstrating diverse research projects across digital products, particularly in fintech environments.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles, able to contribute to design discussions and collaborate effectively with designers to implement research insights into design solutions.
- Proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools, such as interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, and survey design.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex research data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience in using UX design tool Figma, or similar software, which is beneficial for creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Strong visual communication skills, capable of creating compelling presentations and visual representations of data to communicate research findings to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in both trading platforms and non-trading financial applications is highly desirable, with a keen ability to tailor research and design practices to the needs of diverse fintech products.
