JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the direction and management of the Value Stream within Operations. You will prepare and organize change initiatives that contribute to ongoing improvements in the Value Stream processes and enable the cross-functional teams’ effectiveness in the implementation of change within the value stream. You will work closely with various teams to create detailed plans and schedules for changes, making sure they align with the sites and value stream objectives and take place without significant disruptions. This role is pivotal in ensuring that changes are well-organized, on track, and beneficial to the operation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 Years of experience in contract manufacturing.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, workflows, production equipment and industrial techniques.
  • Must have good communications skills to engage all levels of the business and the ability to simplify complex technical language, in simple, short, easy, mediums that provide credibility and understanding to the associated activities.
  • Must have effective problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and organization of plans for changes within operations. Identify opportunities for improvement and change within the value stream.
  • Collaborate with different teams and key stakeholder to gather information on how changes will impact our work and help schedule and organize these changes.
  • Ensure operational readiness for the successful transition of programs from NPI to operations.
  • Create comprehensive plans for change ensuring change readiness for implementation in the Value Stream, specifying the timing and estimated costs where applicable and support the assessment of the impact of proposed changes and verify that the changes will not compromise operational safety.
  • Help design and or deliver communication plans to keep everyone informed about upcoming changes and how they will affect run/work schedule.
  • Support the team in acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to adapt to changes effectively.
  • Conduct implementation risk assessments for each change initiative and develop risk mitigation strategies with the VSLT to minimize disruption to production and quality Keep track of how well changes are working and ensure we are making positive strides.
  • Ensure change performance measures align to site reporting requirements and associated key performance indicators, meet regulatory requirements, and uphold quality standards.
  • Maintain documentation of all change initiatives, including change logs, reports, and post-implementation assessments
  • Ability to critically execute project portfolio according to plans as scheduled and on time.
  • Drive and lead the use of lean and six sigma tools and techniques in everyday problem solving and process improvement activities.
  • Instill, promote, and drive a process driven continuous improvement culture within existing businesses and establishment of appropriate structures and systems to deliver value to the customer.
  • Provide and drive long-term solutions & error proofs to existing process related issues to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Other duties as assigned.
