Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Ability to assemble various valve types.
  • Skills and experience as a fitter and or process operator.
  • Flexibility in working environments is essential.
  • Communicate clearly issues and problems found with individual jobs have worked in a safety culture and environmentally conscious workplace.
  • Product / valve condition and evaluation reporting.
  • Work from drawings, quality plans, special instruction documents and work instructions to determine the correct assembly procedure.
  • Setup and operate equipment in manufacture and assembly processes of both new and used proprietary product. This includes all aspects of the assembly area, blasting, grinding, painting, packing, or drilling as required.
  • Select correct components and tools required to assemble and test product as per the procedures.
  • Inventory items should be issued and stored correctly to ensure stock accuracy in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintain a tidy and clean work area including, daily cleaning of your equipment, work area, and shared work areas.
  • Clock on and off each day and record your time spent on each job on your job card.
  • Keep all shared facilities clean. Clean up after yourself and ensure you leave these areas tidy.
  • To ensure the Quality of our products by following our applicable Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions and completing required forms. E.g. Quality Plans.
  • To ensure you adhere to and follow all company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Environmental and Anti-Discrimination, and Harassment.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Trade certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in the mechanical repair and refurbishment of flow control equipment.
  • Manual handling training
