As a Valve Solution Engineer - Consolidated, you will be responsible for:

• Driving proactive growth of strategic product growth of our specialized and technically differentiated valve solutions.
• Being a recognized expert for Consolidated application engineering with a strong foundation in valve technology and industrial applications.
• Providing technical consultation across all functions and regions.
• Observing, anticipating and reporting on future customer & market needs and their impact on our product design and application engineering for product selection.
• Mentoring and providing guidance to new and experienced commercial and application engineering team members
• Disseminating lessons learned across the commercial and application engineering organization
• Maintaining awareness of competitive relief valve and regulator technology and application engineering philosophies
• Providing direction and be seen as the team mentor for other commercial and application engineers working with technology licensors to adopt Baker Hughes valve solutions for their processes
• Supporting a culture focused on optimizing the balance between technical excellence and commercial viability of Baker Hughes valve solutions.
• Providing direction and mentoring to commercial team members and application engineers representing Baker Hughes at external events, regulatory bodies and standards organizations
• Connecting with and share information and best practices with the wider engineering and product management department within Baker Hughes
• Providing leadership for unyielding compliance and ethical behavio

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Have at least 5 years experience in design engineering, application engineering or technical sales in industrial markets.
• Be experience with industrial markets such as power generation, oil & gas production, oil & gas distribution and oil & gas processing
• Demonstrate Technical Negotiation skills
• Be fluent in English
• Demonstrate excellent presentation skills
• Be able to travel throughout LATAM (50% - 70% of time
