Description:

The Fruit People are seeking applicants for Food Beverage Merchandiser who will be responsible for delivery of products to all customers as well as onsite merchandising for our key customers.
The successful candidate will be part of our Operations VIP team who manage the onsite Food Beverage Programmes for our key customers. We will ensure that full training is provided to the successful candidate on how to ensure that snack stands, fridges and display units are fully stock in line with our customers expectations and appealing to the eye, as well as the accurate monitoring of stock levels and counts.
A typical day is a 5am start in our warehouse at Tolka Valley Business Park, load the van (our Warehouse team have everything ready to go) and the route is planned with all the key information available on the app. Deliveries are made to customers and merchandising/stock counts carried out at key sites and then return to the warehouse for a quick debrief with the team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience driving a van/multi drop deliveries
  • Strong organisational skills - attention to detail is key
  • Polite well presented with a positive attitude
  • Physically fit with an excellent work ethic
  • A good communicator and team player
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Over 25 with a full clean EU or Irish Driving Licence
  • A European citizen or have a valid work visa to work in Ireland.
  • A morning person - our shifts typically start at 5am!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that your deliveries are loaded carefully in the van prior to despatch.
  • Follow the route provided by our delivery app and making sure the schedule is adhered to.
  • Provide a high level of service to our customers.
  • Stocking kitchen areas and merchandising to ensure each display looks appealing.
  • Monitoring of stock levels and weekly stock counts.
  • Identifying slow fast moving products and making recommendations based on observations.
  • Ensuring that coffee machines/fridges/kitchen area etc are clean and well stocked.
  • Feedback of customer requirements and any issues to the Operations Team.
  • Ensure that your vehicle is kept clean and tidy and unloaded at the end of each day.
  • Feedback any issues to the Customer Success Coordinator daily.
