KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DECISION OWNERSHIP:

  • Definition and implementation of the Vodafone business learning strategy – across customer segments and channels.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand learning objectives for both core connectivity and Digital Solutions portfolios.
  • Deliver high quality training programmes to meet the needs of our team, from onboarding, and throughout their employment life cycle, with a focus on learning solutions that create an exceptional customer experience across Channels.
  • Lead the delivery and implementation of the proposed learning solutions - performing needs and skills gap analysis to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Engage front line sales and customer account teams for insights and continuous improvement.
  • Define assessment framework to provide measurable frameworks for Sales Teams for both traditional and virtual learning environments. Defining the standards for sales excellence and supporting accreditations.
  • Facilitate effective learning review meetings with stakeholders, supported by a strong understanding of key business drivers and definition of roadmap for success for Sales Excellence.
  • Lead Vodafone Business Sales excellence programmes end-to-end while collaborating and working cross functionally with Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Product, HR, Business Intelligence, Customer Operations, Finance, and VLO.
  • Working with the Local VLO team to ensure all training records, evaluation and learning hours are recorded and reported.

CORE COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent sales and solution selling acumen.
  • Exceptional communication skills including coordination, personal presentation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to creatively conceptualise and deliver technical and functional content.
  • Experience in formulating quantitative and qualitative measurements in order to implement successful training and performance improvement strategies.
  • Experience in designing, developing and implementing blended-learning plans & solutions; F2F, Virtual & Digital – e.g. Solution Selling, Leadership, Negotiation, Presentation.
  • Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to develop learning paths and compelling journeys that will enable Sales teams to engage customers.
  • Self-starter who can break down a challenge, independently define creative solutions and translate into a programme that drives impact at scale.
  • Experience in a Programme or Project Management role within a matrix organisation.
  • Excellent and proven Leadership skills, with ability to coach/mentor, challenge and direct/partner teams & individuals to thrive.
  • Business acumen and commercial understanding in both for Business and Consumer customers is preferred.
  • Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to actively manage risks and define creative solutions.
  • Capable of driving initiatives within complex business relationships. Manages internal and external relationships, opportunities, time and projects in an organised and documented manner.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Sales Excellence Leader for Vodafone Business, you are responsible for defining & implementing strategies for best-in-class sales education - delivering high-impact programmes that drive success for our customer-facing teams, value for our customers, and results for Vodafone. As a leading telecommunications partner for Business customers in Ireland, we are uniquely situated to help advise & shape how companies diversify & enable their businesses with solutions that help them to connect, grow & operate more effectively in a digital age.
  • In this role, you will formulate and deliver skills frameworks, sales enablement, onboarding and training programmes along with targeted coaching across teams in Vodafone Business, with a particular focus on creating agile and scalable learning solutions for both new hires and existing teams.
  • You will also be the champion for excellence in solution selling, embedding this culture across the Organisation.
  • This role will partner closely with multiple stakeholders including Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Product, Customer Operations, Delivery, Finance, and the Group Vodafone Learning Organization (VLO) including the Skills AOEs and local VLO team - to contribute to the development of sales education materials that provide knowledge relevant to the entire organization, while also delivering & embedding learning paths and content tailored to specific roles and levels.
  • Through an eco system of teams, partners & stakeholders; you will lead the development and implementation of our business learning strategy to support the delivery of our sales plans to increase the company’s profit, deliver business growth and in turn motivate our employees & partners to hit these goals.
