Boeing Defense, Space & Security is currently looking for a Senior Quality Manager in San Antonio, TX. In this role the candidate will manage and oversee FAA applicant STC Project.
As the POC for FAA Applicant Statement of Conformity Manager you will also lead in the coordination of routine Boeing FAA Applicant team within San Antonio, running the business utilizing standard BDS tools RFC NG, REDARS, IGold) (EVM / EAC), and supporting employee engagement. Growth and development are foundational responsibilities as the leader of this team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience on certification programs
  • 3+ years of experience in Conformity processes
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience developing/managing metrics and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA)
  • 3+ years’ experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings

    Summary pay range: $134,300 – $181,700

Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers that develop and maintain quality processes and systems in support of effective and efficient quality system
  • Develops and administers directives, policies, processes, and procedures activities to assure program/contract, company, customer/government, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements are deployed
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies, procedures, and strategies to maintain and improve organizational and quality system performance
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees and first-level managers
