ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Self-motivated. Ability to work under pressure and learn independently.
• Good presentation, time management and leadership skills & ability to work with diverse backgrounds
• Result oriented with focus on customer satisfaction and project delivery
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Background in communications theory and digital signal processing
• Experience in Radio access technologies (NR, LTE, WCDMA, GSM), Baseband, and/or HW/SW design or research.
• Solid understanding of NR 3GPP specifications, especially in the areas of the Physical Layer, Radio Resource Management, and Mobility.
• Experience in SW development. Languages include: Java, Matlab, C and C++
• Analytical and mathematical approach, high capacity, and result-oriented ability to deliver under pressure.
• Experience in leading technical teams and/or being perceived as a technical leader.
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, providing effective communication and building positive relationships internally as well as externally.

Be actively engaged in the architecture definition and proactively drive the implementation of Cloud Native based vDU, in particular:

• Drive and participate in system studies for products and features and product evolution
• Be able to deliver scalability, resilience, and performance by taking full advantage of the evolving architectural and services inherent to a Cloud-Native Platform with leading edge HW accelerators
• Modularize the implementation such that it can prioritize multiple type of interfaces (proprietary, ORAN…) and multiple types of Radios (Macro, Mid-Band AAS, High Band, Indoor…).
• Drive continuous improvements of products, simulation tools and processes
• Participate in proof-of-Concept development
• Interfacing with customers to understand their pain points and future needs
• Participate in the development of roadmaps and strategies for hardware and software platforms
• Development of Intellectual Property
• Cultivate a systematization and implementation that enable rapid feature parity in a Stand-Alone and Hybrid network environment
• Work on 3GPP NR and ORAN standards protocols and advanced 5G feature
• Develop simulation tools to test system performance of various L1/L2/L3 algorithms and benchmarking expected performance metrics.
