MAMUTEC LIMITED aims to provide fresh and seasonal vegetables to the local community. Located in the vibrant Auckland region, Their team is expecting great success. They are currently seeking 2 motivated individuals to join their team as Vegetable Farm Workers at their thriving agricultural operation.

The jobis a full time permanent position with guaranted 30 hours/ work per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Plant, cultivate, and harvest a variety of vegetables according to farm guidelines and schedules.
  • Operate farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, tillers, and irrigation systems.
  • Monitor crop health, identify pests and diseases, and apply appropriate treatments.
  • Weed, thin, and prune crops as necessary to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Assist with irrigation, fertilization, and other farming tasks to maintain crop health.
  • Sort, grade, and pack harvested vegetables for sale or distribution.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and farm equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Job Responsibilities

  • Previous experience in vegetable farming or related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Knowledge of farming techniques, tools, and machinery is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
