Vehicle & CMS Software Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in electrical or software engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience on vehicle related projects.
• Experience with Software integration and testing.
• Experience with testing and commissioning, along with knowledge of Train’s software interfaces.
• Experience in development and validation of the software.
• Knowledge in Control & Command (TCMS)
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Good problem solver and ability to think on your feet.
• Able to effectively manage and communicate across functions and at different levels of the organization.

• Participate in Software Deployment and integration activities, Validation, Testing, and Commissioning of TCMS (Train Control Management Software), Condition Monitoring System, and other onboard software components.
• Responsible for Software installation, upgrade, and maintenance of Condition Monitoring System Software and other onboard software components.
• Review customer ITT on software interfaces and provide appropriate solutions to meet ITT requirements.
• Setup test rack for TCMS when needed to have an independent system.
• Bug analysis, creating documentation/reports on issue details, following up with development teams and subsystem teams on issue resolution.
• Participate in the development of software components along with the global team for onboard train software.
• Responsible for reviewing customer ITT on software interfaces and providing appropriate solutions to meet ITT requirements.
• Set up TCMS test lab with test racks to have an independent system.Conducting training on software installation and usage to other teams and end users.
