Davis Chevrolet in Airdrie is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Vehicle Inventory Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will focus on managing our pre-owned inventory, including appraisals, UVD pricing, reconditioning, pre-owned inventory acquisition, and wholesaling, ensuring optimal inventory levels and profitability. The successful candidate can expect to earn between $60,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on used vehicle management and sales
• Strong knowledge of appraisals, UVD pricing strategies, reconditioning processes, and pre-owned inventory acquisition
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and industry partners
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability in a competitive market environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough appraisals of pre-owned vehicles, considering factors such as condition, market demand, and pricing trends
• Implement UVD pricing strategies to optimize profitability and sales volume, leveraging market insights and competitive analysis
• Oversee the reconditioning process of used vehicles to enhance their marketability and appeal, ensuring compliance with quality standards and cost-effectiveness
• Acquire pre-owned inventory through various channels, including auctions, trade-ins, and direct purchases, maintaining a diverse and attractive inventory mix
• Manage wholesaling activities, including the efficient disposal of aged inventory and maximizing returns through strategic sales channels
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotions for pre-owned vehicles, driving customer engagement and sales
• Maintain accurate records of pre-owned inventory, including pricing, condition reports, and acquisition sources, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
