Description:

TRG is hiring for Vendor Relations Associate for our client based in Mississauga! The Vendor Relations Associate provides support to Connected Living Operations by managing the day-to-day interactions with our vendor partners. Recruiting, contracting, reporting, and general exception handling are routine for the Vendor Relations Associate.
Schedule: Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay rate: $22/hr
Length: 12 months contract
Weekly pay, every Friday!

SKILLS:

  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and proven project management skills.
  • Strong customer service and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate strategy into specific actions with minimal direction.
  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and customers, working effectively in a team environment with shared responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a call center or customer service environment along with retail or extended warranty experience preferred. Additionally, industry specific experience and knowledge are helpful.
  • Servicing industries to consider include, but are not limited to, mobile devices, consumer electronics, HVAC, electrical, appliances, and plumbing repairs. Experience working with Excel spreadsheet formulas and pivot tables, as well as Microsoft Access queries.
  • Skills: This individual should possess strong customer service skills as well as be able to understand and interpret legal/service contracts. Additionally, this individual should be comfortable negotiating financial and legal terms to existing and prospective vendors. The ability to work with minimal supervision, in a group or individual setting, is strongly preferred. The candidate must be able to identify and resolve issues independently.
  • Comfortable in understanding and building/modifying process flows.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point

PREFERRED EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

  • The Vendor Relations Associate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Locate, recruit, onboard and support Vendors
  • Report and Manage Vendor Performance
  • Ensure Vendor Payment
  • Client/Customer Escalation/Exception Handling
  • Vendor Relations Day to Day operations
  • Performs other functions as assigned by management
  • Provide support to the management team, including the development of ad hoc presentations and reports.
  • Prepare, review, and edit communications and presentations for internal and external audiences.
