Description:
Your tasks
- Conduct market research and analysis of potential (minority) investment opportunities
- Analyze financial statements, business models, competitive landscape and growth projections of startups
- Evaluate technical feasibility, uniqueness of solution, IP etc.
- Assist in due diligence (DD) processes incl. commercial, financial, tax, legal DD, trademark and IP DD
- Perform company valuations
- Support negotiations of investment deals, including shareholder rights, equity ownership and financing rounds Assess potential strategic value and synergies between Startup and Continental
- Ensuring that all investments and VC activities comply with legal requirements
- Assist in portfolio management, supporting portfolio companies’ growth and strategic initiatives Work on reporting of the VC portfolio as well as VC portfolio companies – incl. but not limited fair value reporting and underlying industry trends
- Prepare investment memos and reports for investment committee review
- Collaborate with team members on investment decision-making
- Be involved in selected supervisory/ advisory boards as board observer (when possible and meaningful)

- Business understanding and interest to understand technical aspects (Corporate and Startup)
