ABOUT THE ROLE:

This casual position supports our events team by preparing, maintaining and delivering safe events to a high standard and assisting the business with operational duties and tasks. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and self-driven Venue Operations Officers to assist in preparing the setup and pack down of events at our facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Set up and pack down events according to Event Plans and Standard Setups
  • Adhere to Operational Risk guidelines and Standard Operational Procedures
  • Assist in venue changeovers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide operational support during events
  • Liaise with supervisors, coordinators, and managers regarding event and general duties
  • Ensure compliance with workplace guidelines, procedures, and legislations
  • Assist operations team to ensure setups and pack downs are completed safely and to a high standard
  • Help with general maintenance, placement, and movement of equipment
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster is a must for the role including mornings, evening and weekends
