As the Venue Risk & Protection Support Specialist you’ll love data and the drivers of outcomes. In this role you’ll analyse data and leverage your in depth understanding of venue operations to develop high-quality Risk & Protection insights for Endeavour Business Leaders. These insights will inform Risk & Protection initiatives and strategies, aiming to reduce business losses and mitigate risks related to criminal activity and team member wellbeing.
This position will see you collaborating with a broad set of stakeholders across ALH and the broader Risk & Protection function to understand related strengths & opportunities and to support in obtaining & providing datasets and reporting for relevant critical incidents, strategic initiatives and regular functional updates.

Here’s a snapshot of the Venue Risk & Protection Support Specialist responsibilities:

  • Support the Group Operations Risk & Protection Manager with analysis of datasets from across the Risk & Protection, and Care & Wellbeing functions, to deliver meaningful and actionable venue led insights & initiative development.
  • Responsible for the extraction and cleansing of required data, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure timely updates to the ‘At Risk’ venue dashboard, programme, and overall governance.
  • Support the Group Operations Risk & Protection Manager in providing fit-for-purpose reports that identify exception based, actionable insights for Operations Leaders and other business leaders.
  • Support the Group Operations Risk & Protection Manager to construct, produce, and socialise regular Endeavour Leadership Team updates (monthly / quarterly) on behalf of venues, to provide information on shrinkage, criminal activity, and team member risk incidents, including progress with any strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Risk & Protection strategies, based on data & insight opportunities to drive business improvement & cost savings.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you:

  • Thorough understanding of Venue Operations.
  • Solid understanding of Endeavour Group POS and inventory management systems.
  • Intermediate - advanced skills utilising Endeavour systems (Google Suite, Tableau etc).
  • Proficient in presenting data in various forms for presentations (Google Slides).
  • Successful Venue Management experience.
  • Data / analytics experience in a significant retail or commercial business.
  • A curious, authentic approach, with the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders across various functions.
  • The ability to remain composed and resilient when working under pressure.
