The Veterinary Affairs Associate Manager will be in charge of strategy and implementation of PVA in the central America and Caribbean countries. The person is an essential role in liaising with marketing and customer development to define local strategy and plan to drive veterinary channel Brand recommendation (Brand Recommend Most Often - BRMO) and share, with focus on:

leveraging digital as a key enabler to drive awareness, engagement & education
- building veterinary endorsement, recommendation and use of Hill’s products in veterinary clinics. The role works closely with the LATAM Manager of Professional Veterinary Affairs to implement strategy-driven plans for key target audiences including: Key Thought Leaders (academic and non-academic); practicing veterinarians; non-veterinarian health care team members in practices; students and faculty at veterinary and technician schools; and, Hill’s distributors.
- positioning Hill’s in the profession as an important scientific, innovative and credible partner who is engaged in improving the health of dogs and cats and in supporting the profession as a key partner in delivering the Hill’s mission to help enrich and lengthen the special relationships between people and their pets.
- strengthening veterinarians’ understanding and knowledge of our products and making nutrition a more integral part of veterinary medicine by educating veterinarians to implement a nutritional assessment and specific dietary recommendation for Every Pet, Every Time.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Minimum 3 years industry or clinical experience
- Master degree or post-graduation in dogs and cat nutrition or feline medicine/dermatology (small animals)
- Practice experience desirable
- Demonstrated ability in coaching and training supported by several years of related experience
- Self-starter with high initiative
- General computer skills, strong organization and time management skill
- Advanced English
