Description:
IDEXX are currently seeking a part-time experienced Veterinary Laboratory Scientist to work within our multi-discipline diagnostic laboratory in a 6-month fixed term contract. You will work as part of a team and contribute to the delivery of a timely, effective, and efficient diagnostic pathology services. As a member of a specialised team, you – as the successful hire, will ensure the provision of high-quality, efficient biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, histology, and parasitology testing. You will work Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 6pm, with an occasional Saturday shift.
The Veterinary Laboratory Scientist will ensure that IDEXX Reference Laboratories operate at the highest level of accuracy by performing, monitoring and acting upon quality control procedures – while monitoring, calibrating, and troubleshooting their performance, in compliance with NATA and ISO accreditation/certification requirements at all times
