This is a full-time position with rotating Saturday shifts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must have at least 2 years of client-facing customer service experience, 1 year of veterinary experience required.
- Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and hospital staff. (It’s okay if you talk to animals, too!).
- Must have MS Office and G Suite experience and speed-typing skills (We like tech-savvy people.)
- Must have a pleasant presence on the phone and the ability to manage numerous calls.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit and move freely for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service for our clients and their pets.
- Answering phone calls and assisting clients with scheduling appointments and pet questions.
- Checking clients in and out and ensuring all needs have been met.
- Entering and updating client information and patient records.
- Responding to or forwarding E-mails (we reach inbox zero every day!)
- Interpreting Veterinarian orders and our protocols to educate clients and explain requirements.
- Visually assessing patients in the lobby and alerting hospital staff in the event of an emergency.
- Tackling other projects as assigned (with a smile, as always!)
