The Veterinary Emergency Referral Center in Pensacola, FL is hiring a full- time Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding Emergency team!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-year veterinary practice experience as a technician.
  • Competency in performing procedures, surgical preparation and monitoring of patients, performing laboratory testing, exam room workups, client education on wellness/preventative medicine, and assisting doctors in patient care.
  • Must be able to lift 30+ pounds, kneel, bend, and restrain active animals.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a high-volume, busy practice.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and proactively problem-solve, good attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Competency in computer data entry and basic record keeping.
  • Desire to work Full-Time.
  • Have a love for animals and the people who love them.

Benefits:

  • Compensation is based on experience & skill level. Ranging from $15- 23/hr.
