Our client has a talented culturally diverse workforce.They are seeking an experienced Victorian State Manager to join their team in Kilsyth.
About you
To be successful you applicant must be successful with building client relationships and nurturing partnerships opportunities for improvement and efficiencies and ensure all activities are performed safely across all operations and sectors.
Displaying strong leadership skills, business intelligence and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in a Logistics management position,
  • Strong financial analytic and reporting skills,
  • Ability to mentor, lead, drive and manage a team to achieve desired business outcomes,
  • Excellent leadership and management skills,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency of TMS and WMS systems.

About the role.
This position will be responsible for the entire management of the operation, facility and customer relations of Victoria. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
The successful applicant will identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies and ensure all activities are performed safely across all operations and sectors .Advanced customer service experience with the ability to engage and liaise at multiple levels.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment,Hands-on, can-do attitude and approach.

Role will include

  • Providing strong leadership and management to all staff to ensure smooth functioning of the operation and compliance with all systems, policies and procedures,
  • Manage and maintain the financial performance, full accountability for P&L costs for the state,
  • Efficient workforce planning,
  • Optimising resource deployment to manage operational costs.
  • Monitoring staff performance and progress.
  • developing a high performing and engaged team.
  • Understanding of legislation of the workplace. and ability to act in accordance.
