We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Continuity / Recovery to join our Chief Administrative Office [CAO] First Line of Defense [1LOD]. This role will be responsible to document standardized resiliency controls, work across multiple stakeholder groups to drive deployment and adoption of those controls, and establish oversight and governance within the Enterprise Resiliency Office.
This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. The role is flexible with the expectation of 3 days in office per week with a 12-8pm shift.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

Document standard enterprise resiliency controls in alignment with Enterprise Resiliency Office (ERO) policies and standards, including rationalization of existing controls already implemented in RCSAs across the enterprise
Design and document governance processes and internal ERO controls to ensure ongoing sustainability and oversight for standard resiliency controls
Socialize controls and governance processes and incorporate feedback across diverse stakeholders, including ERO, Line of Business Resiliency Leads (BRLs) and other business stakeholders, Enterprise Chief Controls Office (ECCO) and multiple line 2 organizations (Technology Risk Management (TRM), Corporate Operational Risk Framework (CORM))
Coordinate distribution and advise and assist adoption of the standard controls into line of business RCSAs across the organization
Develop reporting and implement ongoing monitoring of control effectiveness ratings and control issue remediation for all standard resiliency controls
Periodically lead and perform thematic reviews of standard resiliency controls, including efficiently, effectively, and timely testing of controls for design, operating effectiveness and sustainability to ensure adherence to applicable corporate and business policies and procedures.
Act as a SME to businesses adopting and testing standard resiliency controls and provide support, as needed, to validate business remediated findings by ensuring agreed upon action plans are completed and sustainably implemented.
Execute effective change management for the standard resiliency controls to ensure ongoing alignment with the ERO framework and other relevant enterprise risk policies and standards as they evolve.
Partner with other CAO enterprise functions (e.g., Change, Sourcing) and the Enterprise Chief Controls Office (ECCO) to support the bank’s strategies for standardized enterprise control management
Partner with ERO to identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate execution, testing and monitoring of resiliency controls across the enterprise.
Establish strong working relationships with the Risk Management, Compliance and Audit teams and members of the business line team to ensure a consistent understanding of the enterprise controls and to support completion of risk-related deliverables, issue resolution and implementation of improvements.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:

Expertise with Operational Risk Management processes and associated frameworks, including risk and control assessments (RCSAs), internal controls development and testing, and gap analysis and remediation
Experience with enterprise resiliency functions, including business continuity, disaster recovery, incident and crisis management, third party resiliency, and technology resiliency.
Ability to both collaborate and challenge with professionalism and credibility.
Strong communications and influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholders and points of view
Strong presentation development and delivery skills, with experience both driving workshops and forums and delivering presenting to senior audiences.
Experience coordinating or conducting internal audit examinations.
Business Analysis and technical experience within a complex eco-system including multiple system applications is preferred, as well as some experience managing enterprise-wide programs is highly desired.
Transformation/Process Change experience is preferred.
Experience supporting clients within multiple lines of business is preferred.
7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
