Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Corporate Officer, the incumbent will play an instrumental role in the corporate communications efforts across traditional and new media platforms for CapitaLand Development (CLD) Group. The successful candidate will develop and execute integrated communications strategies to enhance the company’s reputation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor coverage of the company and key industry developments across print, online, broadcast, and social media platforms, as well as track the performance of media communications efforts
  • Review communications materials including news releases, Q&As, speeches, talking points, CEO messages, corporate deck, and other corporate materials
  • Ensure implementation of all internal and external communication efforts, including corporate product and partnership announcements
  • Identify media opportunities, pitch media stories, and manage media requests
  • Manage communications for incidents, issues, and crises
  • Develop strategies to utilize website, and digital and social media platforms for communication
  • Content management of the company’s website
  • Curate social media calendar, create text and video content, manage posts, and engage with followers
  • Event management for CLD Corporate activities
  • Organize media briefings, facilitate media tours, and manage media at events
  • Manage corporate sponsorships, corporate gifts, corporate videos and other collaterals
  • Manage corporate branding and advertising-related matters and develop corporate identity guidelines
  • Provide stewardship for overseas colleagues on communication policies
  • Manage performance of vendors and creative agencies to ensure service delivery
  • Provide coaching and guidance on staff’s work performance

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Arts
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in a senior communications role with regional communications experience
  • Strategic mindset to lead and manage projects and execution skills
  • Effectively bilingual (English and Chinese), excellent written and verbal communication
  • Established relationships with the media community
  • Good knowledge of social media
  • Independent, enthusiastic, committed, and able to work under tight deadlines
