We are looking for a committed Networker (m/f/d) to join our Group Regulatory Affairs leadership team in Brussels.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Represent the Group on EU affairs issues and advise senior management on Energy Regulation in EU
  • Build relationships with relevant authorities and partners in Brussels and EU institutions
  • Lead and continuously develop the Group’s activities for EU related regulation management of the SEFE Group, in particular energy market design and the future role of natural gas, LNG and hydrogen regulation issues. Knowledge about energy infrastructure, i.e. terminals, transmission and storage is a bonus.
  • Lead and implement continuous energy policy monitoring, the identification, analysis and evaluation of business-relevant legislative initiatives and regulations and their effects on the SEFE Group related to energy
  • Ensure the regulatory external representation of the SEFE Group by creating, participating in and conducting specialist lectures and participation in relevant industry meetings on EU level.
  • Represent SEFE in Brussels and work closely with regulatory agencies, associations, and industry groups to advocate for policies and regulatory standards that enable decarbonisation.
  • Give guidance and cooperate in a constructive manner, share information and knowledge with the community of regulatory experts of the wider organization
  • Direct reporting to the Head of Group Regulatory Affairs in Berlin and coordinate closely with the functional teams in London
  • Build and develop the SEFE Group’s presence in Brussels coordinating with the Head of Group Regulatory Affairs and the functional team leaders
