Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be part of the Finance department, supporting CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Management Limited (CLARML). You will oversee the financial operations of the listed entity and its overseas subsidiaries, including financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, financial as well as management reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monthly and quarterly variance analysis on the financial performance
  • Oversee consolidation and monthly/quarterly management reports as part of forecasting and budgeting process
  • Review quarterly reports and board papers
  • Provide advice to the business teams on various aspects of business including investment and asset management, performance and compliance with government and regulatory requirements
  • Work with tax advisors for effective deal structuring and simulate the impact and tax due diligence for acquisitions and divestments
  • Work closely with country teams to ensure financial operation is consistent with group financial and reporting guidelines and regulations
  • Review internal control processes to ensure compliance with corporate financial regulations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the overall financial management of the company
  • Work with external auditors to ensure smooth audit closing
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Professional Accounting qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or possess a tertiary qualification in Finance
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, with exposure to listed companies
  • Familiarity with cross-border taxation, financial management, risk management, especially finance risks will be an added advantage
  • Possess the strong business acumen, maturity, and strategic thinking ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
