Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Human Resources will lead and direct our human resources department. This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices in alignment with our mission and strategic goals. The VP of HR will focus on strategy development, program alignment, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of seven years of HR management experience, including staff leadership.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and compliance.
  • Strong prioritization and workload management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships.
  • Professional appearance and welcoming demeanor.
  • Preferred experience in long-term managed care, healthcare, and/or human services.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of adequate insurance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to occasionally lift items up to 20 pounds.
  • Operates in both professional office environments and community settings, including residential locations.
  • Regular travel is expected.
