Industrial Assembly Solutions (IAS) is a division within Atlas Copco’s Industrial Technique Business Area. We offer multiple joining technologies from a single source and are a competence partner in innovative joining for the automotive and general industries worldwide. Our adhesive dispensing, self-pierce riveting, flow drill fastening and vision systems are marketed under the product brands SCA, Scheugenpflug, Henrob and K-Flow. As the Vice President of Sales in a global responsibility, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion across our more than 13 Customer Centers worldwide. Operating within a matrix organization structure, you will lead a dynamic team of Global Key Account Managers to achieve ambitious targets and maintain exceptional customer relationships. You will have the opportunity to engage directly with key stakeholders, build strategic partnerships, and ensure consistent implementation of sales strategies across diverse markets.
Your Mission as Vice President of Sales is to lead our sales teams with integrity, passion, and a relentless focus on results, driving sustainable growth and fostering long-term relationships built on trust and mutual success. Together, you will shape the future of our industry and inspire a world of opportunities. You will develop a world class Divisional Sales team together with the Business Intelligence Team. The responsibility relates to all business lines and product groups within the IAS Division and is applicable globally.
This role reports directly to the President IAS Division.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
As the ideal candidate, you have more than 10 years of working experience in similar roles within Automotive Industry and you have a very good knowledge in global sales development. You have good understanding of the business and the main needs of our customers and proven experience in Industrial B2B projects.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and/or Sales, or a related field, technical background is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in a global or multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multiculture and diverse teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Experience working in a matrix organizational structure is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
- Fluent in English language is mandatory, German language is a plus.

Responsibilities:
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Strategy Development: Drive and support comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in alignment with organizational goals in the respective global business lines.
- Global Key Account Strategy: Lead and drive global key account strategies for the identified GKAM role globally.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to sales teams across various geographical locations, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Performance Management: Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and targets for sales teams, and regularly monitor and evaluate performance against these metrics to drive continuous improvement. Take full responsibility for Profit & Loss and Balance sheet statements for IAS Sales.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders globally to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for market expansion, and leverage insights.
- Market Expansion: Identify opportunities for market expansion and penetration, developing tailored strategies to capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with broader business objectives.
- Travel: Travel up to 60% of the time to visit customer centers, attend meetings, and participate in sales events and conferences globally.
- Actively participate and support the IAS overall development through engagement in the IAS Division Management Team.
