VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING & BUSINESS STRATEGY - CONSUMER GOODS EMEA

We are currently looking for a Vice President Marketing & Business Strategy for the Consumer Goods EMEA Business Unit, which operates in Consumer Tissue, Intimate Hygiene (Feminine and Incontinence in the Retail channel), Baby and Beauty Care.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As VP Marketing & Business Strategy, you are responsible for developing the business in line with strategic directions and financial aspirations, with specific focus on Digital, Strategy development and execution, M&A and Marketing.
The role is instrumental in our digital transformation, being accountable for our digital platforms as well as our AI roadmap. Providing customer, and consumer insights to the relevant stakeholders.
To be effective in the role in the next coming years we are looking for someone with strong interest and relevant experience in the areas of AI, digital development and Marketing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Act as strategic business partner to the President and Business Unit Leadership team.
  • You are supervising the European marketing activities, in coordination with our global functions (GBIS), with specific focus on Intimate Hygiene and Beauty Care.
  • Work in close collaboration with local/regional sales & marketing teams to make sure that the activities are fit for purpose and fully embedded in the organization.
  • Lead business strategy and digital platforms.
  • You develop and execute operational market development plans in close cooperation with GBIS (Global Brand, Innovation and Sustainability) Business Unit and the Regions to achieve key business goals.
  • Develop the CG EMEA Strategy and M&A roadmap together with corporate functions.
  • Drive acceleration of AI and digital platforms.
  • Secure a continuous analysis of markets, customer segments, products and distribution channels as well as competitor performance to identify and drive new business concepts and opportunities.
  • You provide market, customer and consumer insights to the relevant stakeholders, ensuring that products and solutions developed in GBIS are in line with BU needs. Act as Sponsor and/or Steering group member in key projects.
  • Lead and develop the team in terms of efficiency, structure and people.
