Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in understanding and meeting customer needs by offering the right solutions through the right channels to the right customer segments. The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading personal banking customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Marketing.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Driving digital adoption and engagement for our personal banking and digital servicing/payment solution inclusive (but not limited to) HSBC Singapore App, Entertainer with HSBC Credit Cards Usage via integrated marketing activities (ATL, BTL, digital)
  • Size new partnership opportunities, assess impacts to customer journey across all channels and make recommendations to enhance current marketing programmes and improve results
  • Plan, lead and deliver insights-led marketing strategies and initiatives to support business priorities and enhance customer journey across all channels
  • Discover, identify and understand the full life cycle of the EA segment and their needs via customer-centred design thinking and data/analytics to develop marketing programmes/campaigns to increase acquisitions, retention, engagement and penetration of EA segment
  • Increase consideration and adoption of relevant financial solutions amongst existing and new customers through customer-centric marketing strategy and initiatives, delivering increased sales and profitability
  • Identify opportunities to test and learn marketing initiatives including marketing innovation and lead agile project as a product owner or scrum master and drive the agile agenda within CPEM especially with the junior team members
  • Nurture junior team members to ensure innovation and strong execution of the day-to-day marketing initiatives
  • Responsible for managing agencies, define scope and lead end to end marketing program planning, implementation and result evaluation
  • Works independently to manage internal (Global, Regional, business, compliance, legal, group communications, direct) and external (agencies, production, partners) stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with business priorities

Requirements

  • A degree from an accredited institution
  • Proven ability to be agile and a self-starter with a passion for marketing and/or digital and able to work under pressure and ambiguity with a positive spirit
  • Highly analytical with a commercial mind, expected to drive customer acquisition and increase market share
  • Proven expertise and have sound knowledge of integrated marketing to connect the dots between the different personal lending products
  • Able to work, influence and build relationships in a diverse environment with multiple stakeholders with good interpersonal and negotiation skills across country, regional and global structure
  • Be a team player yet able to work independently and lead on projects and nurture junior team members
  • Experience in agile/scrum and data driven marketing will be preferred
  • Working experience in marketing or product management
