Responsibilities:

As a VP of HR, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including the below:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives, translating goals into actionable plans.
  • Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations. Ensure HR policies, forms and templates procedures, and practices are compliant and up-to-date.
  • Overseas and lead process improvement and system implementation to enhance HR function.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs compliant with legal requirements and market trends.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the performance evaluation and management systems and processes. Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback, goal setting, and performance improvement plans.
  • Design the strategy and implement programs for employee training, development, and career advancement. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • Work with senior leadership team to establish and maintain career growth and leveling frameworks.
  • Lead the recruitment strategy to attract and retain high-caliber talent.
  • Work with company leadership to establish, draft, maintain and administer HR policies that further business objectives and employee wellbeing.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues. Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner. Handle employee relations issues and conduct investigations when appropriate.
  • Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Establish and track HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage HR budget, vendors and systems, and lead vendor negotiations, strategy and change management as applicable.
  • Devise, improve and administer processes driving efficiency and employee satisfaction for all ongoing HR tasks, including on/offboarding, payroll processing, HR data management and maintenance, role changes, leave administration, employment verifications etc.
  • Manage company-wide communications, including employee surveys and virtual and in-person events.
  • Oversee and manage the facilities and two office locations including the support staff.

What You Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in human resources, with at least 5 years of progressive roles in a leadership.
  • HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstratable experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies, process and systems for a high growth business.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
