Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Vice President, Operations Excellence you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and systems that enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness. The VP, Operations Excellence will work closely with senior leadership, regional teams, and cross-functional teams to identify and execute improvement opportunities, drive operational excellence culture, and deliver value to customers and stakeholders.
In this role the VP, Operations Excellence will be a critical business partner of the digital transformation program that includes new platforms and products which require bringing operational business processes together to work ‘One Best Way’ globally.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years operations management experience, preferably in a service company with B2B and B2C clients.
  • Experience designing and successfully implementing operational processes and supply chain that produce growth while minimizing risk.
  • Experience transforming an operations organization into a cohesive highly performing team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization including clients and vendors
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving results.
  • Proven track record of success in managing cross-functional projects and driving operational improvements.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborating with senior leadership to define the operational excellence strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Create Standardize Process: Develop and implement standardized and common processes to streamline and simplify operations.
  • Drive Service Improvements: Identify, develop and implement service improvements that improve our client retention and base business volume with appropriate metrics, accountability and reporting.
  • Change Management: Implementing change initiatives effectively by communicating the rationale, benefits, and expected outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Performance Measurement: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress toward operational excellence goals and using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Training and Development: Providing training and development programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to support operational excellence initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Fostering collaboration and communication among different departments or teams to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving operational excellence goals.
  • Consumer and Associate Experience: Advocate for the Consumer and Associate experience that provides the highest return on investment.
  • Technology Integration: Leveraging technology solutions such as automation, data analytics, and digital tools to optimize processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement where employees are empowered to suggest innovative ideas and participate in problem-solving activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
  • Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
  • Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts performance discussions.
