Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

An opportunity exists for a Vice President within the Australian Insurance & Diversified Financials Research team, based in Sydney. The role is an opportunity to accelerate your career with a fast-paced working environment in sell-side equities research. There will be an expectation for the candidate to lead stock coverage early into the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and maintaining earnings and valuation models for Insurance & Diversified Financials companies, and developing comprehensive knowledge of company financial statements
  • Presenting ideas confidently and concisely to internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyzing industry trends, interrogating data and connecting with industry experts
  • Developing relationships with institutional equities clients, equity sales & trading, company management and investor relations
  • Preparing and writing research reports, presentations and other research-related documents
  • Undertaking bespoke client requests.
