Description:
Edelman is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial head of Social and Content to lead a growing team of content creators, social strategists, and community managers. Our social and content offering is pivotal to our broader digital capability with a focus on content and social strategy and delivery through the content lab and creator bench.
A successful candidate will have a strong grasp of social media, content strategy, and digital storytelling. They will have a demonstrated track record for launching or growing brands on social channels and have a robust understanding of storytelling frameworks and storytelling strategies. They will understand and be able to glean behavioural insights related to people’s use of social platforms and consumption of digital content. They will help brands identify ways to drive growth via social channels and content strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Articulate insights gleaned from social and conversational trends, artfully organizing information from observations and implications to strategic recommendations.
- Stay current on audiences, cultural trends, social media behaviors, and platform best practices.
- Work directly with clients, gaining their trust, and inspiring them to take the right risks so they may become known for digital ‘firsts’ that wow their consumers and audiences, while ensuring their professional success.
- Collaborate with cross functional project teams to motivate, create, and implement short and long-term digital marketing strategies.
- Proactively identify new opportunities for client growthand ensure the delivery of best in class work across all engagements.
- Oversee the development and execution of cutting-edge content strategies across various social platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Grow Edelman’s content lab and creator bench offering, leveraging innovative tools and platforms to meet the needs of our clients.
- Lead a team of community managers, ensuring high engagement and strong community relations across all social media channels.
- Drive brand growth on social platforms by launching and promoting compelling, brand-aligned content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that social media and content strategies are integrated with overall campaigns.
- Analyze social media trends and adapt content strategies to maintain competitive advantage and relevance in the market.
- Drive trend mining and real-time content efforts.
- Partner with stakeholders on brand and corporate teams to deliver compelling digital storytelling.
