Description:

Gregory FCA, one of the top public relations firms in the nation, is looking for a Vice President of Social Media. This person must understand all major social media platforms, their best practices, and opportunities for a range of clients. We want someone who is engaged in growing this practice area. You must be a team builder, and an outstanding communicator, and someone thrives in a fast-paced agency environment. This role calls for someone who can articulate the value and impact of social media to current and prospective clients as well as internally to our team members.

SKILLS:

  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Intimate knowledge of Spout Social and its listening, monitoring, tracking, and reporting capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge/experience with paid social/digital including campaign development, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Advanced understanding of social tools and how to integrate them across client accounts.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and pulling analytics from various marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, and more).
  • Creative capacity to develop ideas and content.
  • Adaptable to changing work demands and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stay abreast of news and trends in digital communication; ability to understand and use AI in work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate in a collegial, open-door environment with management and PR teams.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Able to work well in a team environment and multitask.
  • Ability to communicate with professionals in design, editorial, client services, and video production.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • An undergraduate degree in communications, digital media, public relations, creative arts, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience
  • Agency experience required
  • Experience with clients in financial services, tech and health care industries a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom social media solutions/strategies/campaigns to meet client requests.
  • Lead and manage paid and organic social media campaigns for clients.
  • Drive engagement for social media campaigns. Accountable for producing results and clearly delivering/showcasing those results to clients.
  • Present and translate social media data/metrics into actionable and easy-to-understand terms that make sense to PR teams and clients.
  • Articulate Gregory FCA’s social offerings in client meetings, sales proposals, and on sales calls.
  • Lead social media scopes of work for clients - helping with strategy, tatical work, explaining offerings, leading client calls, interacting directly with PR teams to ensure work is meeting client needs.
  • Lead, train and mentor a team of social media specialists; lead social media division.
  • Contribute to new business calls and proposals.
  • Stay current on social media tools, trends, and platforms, updating the company on the latest and greatest.
  • Add to personal understanding of topics, terms, and products specific to clients’ industries that we serve.
  • Oversee and produce monthly client reporting.
