Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The job-holder will collaborate closely with Business Units (BU) (Global Banking and Commercial Banking), Credit Risk Approvers, and Corporate Remedial teams to propose and implement strategic actions for high-risk/stressed corporate accounts (Vulnerable/ Potentially Impaired VPI” loans) to minimize credit loss, maximize recovery, and improve customer rehabilitation through early actions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Banking/Finance, Accountancy, Business, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of banking experience, preferably in corporate banking, credit risk management, or NPL recovery roles, dealing with diversified corporate banking customers.
- Strong knowledge of banking products and restructuring and insolvency laws/practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated ability to work well with BUs and stakeholders.
- Able to work independently
- Results-driven, resourceful, with an agile mindset to explore alternative solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor and identify early warning signs to promptly detect vulnerable corporate accounts, including those at stage 2 prior to NPL status.
- Provide advisory on appropriate strategies and actions for vulnerable corporate accounts to enhance credit and mitigate potential losses.
- Work closely with colleagues in Commercial Banking and Global Banking to manage customers and implement agreed de-risking and credit enhancement actions.
- Represent the Bank in multi-bank restructuring and external meetings with customers, legal representatives, financial advisors, other lenders, and stakeholders, maintaining effective working relationships.
- Conduct post-mortem reviews to identify credit/operational risks and share "lessons learned" with internal stakeholders.
- Support relevant management, audit, regulatory inquiries, and reporting.
- Represent the SAM team on relevant/ad-hoc projects.
- Compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
