About this role
We are seeking a Vice President to join the Talent Management and DEI team in Asia Pacific. The role will be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong and will report into the APAC Head of Talent Management and DEI.
The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and driving great careers, managing regional talent projects and initiatives and providing talent management advisory to our business leaders and their teams. They will partner closely with global Talent and DEI counterparts, HR business partners and talent and culture champions across the firm.
This role will be responsible for amplifying talent practices to support our region’s ambitious growth goals and will provide thought leadership and project management in order to retain, stretch and grow our talent. The successful candidate will lead all things related to careers and will also define and implement talent analytics strategies partnering closely with subject matter experts and be responsible for ‘telling the story’ to key stakeholders.
The key to success in this role is strong talent management advisory skills, the ability to plan and execute flawlessly and a curiosity to enable process improvement in a high impact way. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of talent management best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A strong grasp of talent analytics is essential to support our data-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regional talent management practices and advisory for mid to junior talent including promotion programs and career pathing
  • Develop and execute scalable multi-year career strategies for targeted business areas including managers and stay up-to-date with current and emerging trends
  • Become the ‘go-to’ person for career pathing and talent mobility preparation – providing best practice, expertise and guidance on how to support business talent priorities
  • Proactively elevate the regional career experience and simplify processes to get the right outcome for talent and the business
  • Partner with Head of TM & DEI on senior leadership development and workforce planning providing insights and analytics on the best way forward
  • Build greater talent insights and analytics mechanisms in partnership with key teams
  • Partner with Campus colleagues to develop robust and sustainable learning experiences
  • Lead key regional and global talent management initiatives

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of talent practices and talent management advisory
  • Passion for working within and outside of frameworks to drive great career development
  • Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent programs across APAC region
  • Strong understanding of user experience and ability to adapt and simplify talent practices to suit
