Description:
TandemLaunch is currently looking for a VP of Technical Sales for one of our portfolio companies specializing in hardware products. The company prides itself on delivering cutting-edge hardware solutions for audio devices to both B2B and B2C markets. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a passionate and driven Vice President of Technical Sales to join their team.
We are looking for a Vice President of Technical Sales who can collaborate deeply with the product and engineering team to ensure that customer needs for new and existing products are met. This individual will be responsible for generating the pipeline for new customers, signing new business, and driving the growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Team: Work closely with the product team to understand customer needs and ensure these are met through new and existing product offerings.
- Lead Sales Initiatives: Drive and lead the sales strategy, focusing on generating a robust pipeline of new customers and nurturing existing relationships.
- Market Development: Identify and carve out new opportunities in the B2B and B2C hardware space, expanding our market presence.
- Technical Communication: Break down complex technical terminology and effectively communicate it to non-technical clients, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Startup Mindset: Bring startup experience and a hands-on approach, ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges head-on
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in technical sales (5+ years), preferably in the hardware industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the B2B and B2C hardware space.
- Proven track record of generating new business and driving sales growth.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially product development.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
