QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent): Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional certification (e.g., CCP, CBP, SPHR) is a plus

EXPERIENCE:

  • 12+ years experience in HR, with a focus on compensation and benefits management. Ability to analyse data, identify trends and make recommendations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of global compensation practices, regulations, and trends.
  • Experience working in a multi-national, multi-cultural organisation preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE: ABOUT THE ROLE:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for the role of Vice President HR (Compensation & Benefits), reporting directly to the Senior Vice President HR (Compensation & Benefits). The successful candidate will shape and execute the compensation and benefits strategy for our global Emirates workforce. This role is responsible for developing and implementing policies, programs and initiatives that attract, retain and motivate talent across all geographical regions. The focus will be on ensuring global compensation and benefits strategies are compliant with local regulations, promoting competitiveness, sustainability & affordability, and effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Compensation Management: Lead the design, implementation, and administration of competitive and equitable compensation programs, including base pay, incentives and financial recognition programs, ensuring compliance with local laws & regulations. Conduct regular relevant benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the design and administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, retirement and other fringe benefits. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, identify and deliver opportunities for improvement.
  • Global Mobility: Lead the design & implementation of global mobility and Posted Staff assignments. Develop policies and procedures to support employees working across different countries and cultures.
  • Employee Communication and Education: Develop communication strategies to educate employees about compensation and benefits programs, policies, and changes. Ensure that employees have access to the information they need to understand and make informed decisions about their total rewards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees, to understand their needs and priorities related to compensation and benefits. Provide guidance and support to address concerns and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Leading a team: Lead, mentor, and develop a specialist HR team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes excellence and accountability.
