We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Vice President, Trading Services II to join our Markets Operations team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL – Hybrid Basis.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

  • Serves as subject matter expert for trading services to institutional clients, money managers, advisors and internal trading desks regarding trading execution, handling the most complex transactions and situations.
  • May progress into trading role.
  • Implements strategies to develop procedures required to monitor client orders and risk and to minimize errors in trading operations.
  • Acts as a high level resource to resolve most complex issues flagged raised by Trader Services staff during error checking and exception processing.
  • May be responsible for pricing and negotiating the cross border trading of Depositary Receipts with counterparties.
  • Evaluates and determines best practice approaches for the streamlining and optimization processes through workflow design and technology.
  • Has authority to execute orders.
  • Serves as cross-functional resource on the needs assessment and trade execution strategies.
  • Acts as subject matter expert regarding all product offerings and vendor requirements.
  • Pro-active assessment and resolution of complex transaction issues.
  • Provides in-depth, knowledge and expertise on compliance requirements including control policies and trading standards to Trade Service associates.
  • Serves as SME on exceptional situations, requiring latitude and discretion.
  • Proactively communicates with traders, analysts and other functional groups.
  • Serves as a resource for information dissemination.
  • Provides traders with pre- and post-executional support.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
