Video Producer (EdTech)

JOB SUMMARY:

We’re looking for an experienced EdTech video producer to join our growing team in Cape Town. This role best suits candidates with strong project management skill sets who are comfortable organising international filming and driving post-production timelines. Construct is a full service online learning partner working with universities and corporations from all over the world. We are looking for someone to join our Video Producer team who can coordinate all aspects of media production, from pre-production planning and filming, through to post-production and delivery. They work directly with outstanding clients and Learning Designers, as well as closely with the production team on the ground in Cape Town.
Our ideal candidate should be extremely organised, able to work under pressure, and be very adaptable. Having prior experience in the EdTech industry is an advantage.

• Media content planning
• Preproduction & arranging filming (with international venders)
• Prepping presenters to be filmed
• Facilitating remote (laptop) filming with SMEs
• Facilitate the log and transfer of footage
• Facilitate reviews of work and deliver final media (video, graphic and motion graphic media)
• Provide creative input and a learning voice to your work
• Manage media budgets closely with Project Managers and escalate risks in a timely manner
• Project Manage the media portion of multiple projects
• Occasional international on-site producing during filming
