Transdev Group is looking for a V.I.E* Junior CSR Manager to be based in Berlin in Germany.

In Germany from 1998, Transdev is the leading private rail passenger’s operator and has helped to revitalize certain regions by deploying services that are better adapted to passengers’ needs. We operate 20 Operation & Maintenance contracts, totalizing 55 million train km for 118 million passengers per year. The fleet is composed of 472 trainsets.

Responsibilities

The Junior CSR Manager is responsible for:

• Supporting the implementation of Transdev Germany’s CSR strategy
• Leading sustainability projects with a focus on climate and environmental topics
• Monitoring our progress and sustainability KPIs
• Support in data management, especially in the recording of our CO2 emissions (Scope 1 - 3)
• Assistance in preparing for CSRD compliance.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Post-secondary (Equivalent Bac+5) with a CSR specialization.
• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Existing Corporate Social Responsibility Sustainability Environmental and Resource Management experience

SKILLS

• Ability to effectively communicate with various internal and external stakeholders to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and exchange relevant information.
• Proficiency in analyzing CSR-related data, interpreting trends, and identifying areas for improvement to guide strategic decisions and actions.
• Planning, executing, and monitoring CSR projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and set objectives.
• Ability to identify challenges and obstacles related to CSR, develop innovative solutions, and implement effective strategies to overcome them.
• Aptitude for working effectively with different teams and departments within the organization to integrate CSR considerations into processes and business activities.
• Reporting obligations and compliance requirements that the company must adhere to.
• Competence in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data on CSR performance in a clear and transparent manner, using appropriate reporting tools.
• Capability to inspire and motivate others to adopt sustainable practices, promote a corporate culture focused on social responsibility, and advocate for CSR values within the organization and beyond.
