The Global Service Department has the overall responsibility of servicing VIKING Marine and Offshore Evacuation systems, Rafts and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Further, they support the education and training of our authorized service technicians as well as implementing continuous product improvements.
Based at the head office in Esbjerg, you will have reference to Sr. Manager MES, RAFT, PPE & MES Offshore who is located at VIKINGs office in Bergen, Norway.
As a Project Manager you will be part of a team of 9 colleagues and be involved in various projects and tasks - such as, establishing and executing projects involving relevant stakeholders within the MES, Raft and PPE service area.
In close cooperation with the team, you will drive the further development of VIKING’s service abilities, including systems, processes and structures supporting this.

Examples of job tasks in the position, could be;

  • Developing project plans, including timelines, resource allocation and budgeting
  • Communicating with stakeholders across different regions to ensure alignment and buy-in
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with global projects
  • Ensuring the quality of deliverables meets or exceeds customer expectations, regardless of geographic location
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members and stakeholders
  • Providing regular updates on project progress, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the plan, as well as maintaining comprehensive documentation for future reference
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implementing best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness

Approximately 20 global travel days per year must be expected.
