Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Specialist III

GENERAL SUMMARY:

With direct supervision from Director, ICT + Security Group or senior staff, provide design for telecommunications, LAN, CCTV, fire alarm, access control, and wireless LAN for new construction and/or renovation of industrial or commercial structures in conformance to client requirements and applicable codes.

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or related field, electronic engineering, information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-6 years related experience in data, telecommunication, fire alarm and security engineering field.
• Revit proficiency required.
• RCDD preferred

Additional Skills:

• Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and MSWord, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM360
