Visiting Analyst Venture Capital - Internship (d/f/m)

WHAT WE EXPECT…

• You have bachelor degree or comparable training, professional experience in the field of business, engineering, entrepreneurship, technology.
• You have an affinity for early-stage start-ups, the venture capital ecosystem as well as a passion for newest technology (SaaS models).
• Your analytical skills enable you to develop and defend opinions – in spoken and written communication.
• You are curious, open to learn, and possess research enthusiasm for future trends, business models & technologies.
• You work independently while being a team player at heart, and you are self-driven and very organized.
• You speak and write in German and English fluently (other languages are a plus).
• Time requirement/availability: At least 5-6 months full-time internship.
• Work location: we believe in training-on-the-job, therefore the work location is our headquarters in Essen. We also allow to work from home office/remote, but the main workplace will be the office.

• You build up a holistic understanding of different industries based on our 4 theses.
• You work directly with the investment team to source, evaluate and manage dealflows.
• You will capture and process new national as well as Europe-wide investment opportunities, companies and contacts.
• You will support the investment team on various research projects.
• You draft written communication and assist in administrative functions.
• You grow and foster your network in the European start-up and VC ecosystem.
