The Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, one-year position in Computer Science at the level of Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor, to begin August 2024. This position has the potential for additional years of reappointment.
Responsibilities include teaching a variety of undergraduate computer science courses and participating in the life of the Computer Science program, MSCS Department, and college as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for candidates who have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a closely related field, who can contribute broadly to our growing computer science program through teaching a variety of courses. ABD candidates will be considered; highest consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the undergraduate level. We are particularly interested in applicants who can and will advance the College’s goals for diversity, equity and inclusion.
