Description:
Nebraska Wesleyan University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professorship of Mathematics, beginning August 2024. Prior to accepting the position, candidates will have the opportunity to discuss with the Provost the possibility of extending the duration to two years.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mathematics or Statistics
- Evidence of effective teaching of a variety of mathematics and/or statistics courses
- Strong commitment to student-centered active learning and student engagement activities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of constituents
Responsibilities:
This position is open to all areas of specialization in Mathematics or Statistics. Faculty are expected to teach a variety of lower- and upper-level mathematics courses.
