Position Details: Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for a full-time one-year position of Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics to begin August 15, 2024.

Department Information: The Physics Department offers a nationally recognized comprehensive major and graduates an average of 15 +/- 3 students per year, of whom a very high percentage pursue graduate and professional degrees. Responsibilities:

  • Teach 24 contact hours during the academic year. This teaching load is typically two lecture courses and associated labs in both the fall and spring terms (approximately 12 contact hours per week in lectures and labs at introductory and upper levels for various audiences).
